Hope Community Church - Hospitality Ministries

The Hospitality ministry is coordinated by Margie Bartlett. This ministry includes refreshments on Sunday morning for adult Sunday School Classes, Wednesday night meals, home-delivered meals, banquets and fellowships and recipe sharing.

Wednesday Night Family Meals

On Wednesday evenings before service, from 5-6:30pm, we prepare a home-cooked meal in our kitchen for families to enjoy together. The cost is $3 for adults and $2 for children (12 & under). The maximum cost per family is $12.

Home-delivered Meals

One of our favorite ministries is providing meals to those in our congregation (and sometimes others) who are in need of a little T.L.C. This could be because of illness, surgery, becoming new parents or experiencing difficult circumstances. A team of wonderful volunteers, who happen to be great cooks, prepare and deliver hot meals to those needing this blessing. Frozen entrees are also available for delivery.

Banquets/Food Events

Newcomers Banquet: Some of our favorite events at Hope are our periodic Newcomers' Banquets. These banquets are truly "fine dining" experiences for those seeking to become members. Volunteers for this ministry help in preparing and/or serving our guests for these important events. They are held on Sunday evening and last approximately 2 hours.

Annual Church Picnic: Typically held in July; hospitality volunteers serve BBQ to the Hope family.

Special Occasion Banquets: Assisting with banquets held on special occasions for various ministries.
