Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Is the dress formal on Sunday mornings?  Should I expect men wearing ties and women in dresses, or is it more casual? You will see some people in ties and dresses at any of our services, but you will also see many families dressed very casually.
  2.  When do the services start? Our Sunday morning services start at 9 & 11am and our Wednesday night service begins at 7pm.  On Wednesdays, a dinner for everyone begins at 5pm and ends at 6:30pm.
  3. Where are you located? We are located just around the corner from Sam's at 2121 S Blackman Rd. From Sunshine and 65 go East to Blackman Rd and take a right (south).  The church is on the right.
  4. When do the Children's Ministries meet? There are Sunday School classes for all children up to the 5th grade starting at 9 and 11 on Sunday morning and at 7pm on Wednesday night.
  5. Do you have a place for youth and young adults? Our youth ministry is called theBurn and meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm and on Sunday mornings during the 9am service.  theBurn includes grades 6-12. We also have a community of young adults called the Living Room that meets regularly for anyone 18-30s, single or married, student or working.
  6. Do you provide nursery care? Nursery care is provided during each service for children 0-2 years of age.
  7. Do you offer adult Sunday School? We have classes meeting during both Sunday morning services. Check the Information Booth when you arrive for more details.
  8. Are you a part of a denomination? We are an interdenominational, Spirit-filled church with numerous backgrounds represented in our family.
  9. What can I expect in a service? Our services are never identical, but a main component is music and worship that is fresh and experiential. We believe we come to encounter God in a real and true way as opposed to going through churchy motions. Additionally, our pastor shares from the word of God in ways that impact and challenge us. You might see people laughing with joy or moved by tears; clapping, dancing or standing still, but most people have truly encountered the presence of the living God.
  10. If I need prayer can I be prayed for? In many services a time to receive prayer is offered, or you may submit prayer requests through an information request form in the bulletin. However, during any service you may request prayer from the pastors or ministry team members.
